Shale technology – the new ‘Swing’ producer that sets global oil prices?

The emergence of shale technology, particularly in the US, is dramatically challenging the conventional rules of global oil markets, says Olivier Appert, President of the World Energy Council French Member Committee. Lebanon Committee Supports Start Early Schools Education Intiative

In 2014 the Lebanon Member Committee awarded a $1,500 grant to the Lebanese International University to develop a textbook on renewable energy for elementary schools in Lebanon. The textbook, which will be available at the Beirut Energy Forum, covers renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind and hydro using simple terminologies and an approach that is suitable for young children with limited knowledge of physics, chemistry and mathematics.
