Lo scorso 8-11 ottobre a Milano si è tenuta la World Energy Week (WEW), evento flagship annuale del World Energy Council (WEC) che ha riunito le delegazioni provenienti dai principali paesi appartenenti al network WEC, composto da circa 100 Paesi, in un dibattito multi-energy e multi-stakeholder sulle grandi sfide della transizione energetica e dello sviluppo di un’energia sostenibile, competitiva e sicura.

The World Energy Issues Monitor provides a snapshot of what keeps CEOs, Ministers and experts awake at night in over 90 countries. The monitor helps to define the world energy agenda and its evolution over time. It provides a high-level perception of what constitute issues of critical uncertainty, in contrast to those that require immediate action or act as developing signals for the future. It is an essential tool for understanding the complex and uncertain environment in which energy leaders must operate, and a tool through which one can challenge own assumptions on the key drivers within the energy landscape. This ninth iteration of the monitor is based on insights provided by more than 1,200 energy leaders to provide over 30 national assessments across six regions

This September edition comes right before an important series of events that will put Mexico’s energy reform and the North American energy dialogue in the spotlight during the “Dialogues for the Future of Energy Mexico 2017” week (DEMEX). The World Energy Council, its network and partners are gathering approximately 100 Ministers, CEOs and energy experts from across the world to drive change and deepen understanding of the grand energy transition holding three major events: the World Energy Leaders’ Summit, the North American Regional Forum and the Empowering Energy workshop.
